What Edaphia does
Edaphia connects crop guidance with the places and plants you manage. It can help you find crops, save growing locations, organize plantings, follow care tasks, and keep a garden history.
Recommendations are guidance, not guarantees. Weather, soil, microclimates, cultivar choice, and your own observations still matter.
Your first steps

Set your garden ZIP or choose a USDA zone for the place where you grow. Use the ZIP code for the garden itself. A recognized ZIP gives Edaphia the zone and average frost-date context used by planting guidance.

Create a garden, such as Home Garden, Patio Garden, Community Plot, or Greenhouse. A garden is the overall place where you grow. Give it a familiar name now; you can add several beds, rows, or containers inside it.

Add a growing location, such as a raised bed, row, container, or shelf. Growing locations are the individual spaces inside a garden. Add dimensions when you know them so planning tools can estimate available planting space.

Choose a crop. If it is missing, add your own crop or named variety for immediate use in your garden. Browse the Crops directory and open a crop guide to review regional suitability and planting windows before adding it to your garden.

In Add a Plant, choose a garden and growing location. For a supported crop, you can open Food Planner to estimate quantity and fit before saving. My Garden brings your plants, Food Planner, and Supply List together. Use Food Planner when you want help estimating quantity or bed fit.

Review the exact planting quantity and optional Supply List choices, then save the planting when you are ready. Confirm the crop or variety, planting quantity, garden location, and any planting material you want on the Supply List before saving.
Account and email verification
Create an account with an email address you can access. Follow the verification link Edaphia sends before relying on account email features such as reminders.
Your Account area holds profile, privacy, notification, and password settings. Garden locations are managed separately because one account can represent more than one place where you grow.
