Last updated: July 28, 2026
Edaphia Garden Planner is designed to help gardeners plan, track, and manage their gardens. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected, how it may be used, and the choices available to users.
Information We May Collect
Edaphia may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, account details, selected growing region or USDA zone, saved crops, garden beds, planting dates, notes, harvest logs, journal entries, reminders, and uploaded photos.
Edaphia may also collect basic technical information such as browser type, device type, pages visited, referring pages, and general usage activity to help maintain and improve the app.
Location and Growing Zone Information
Edaphia may allow users to select a growing region, USDA zone, or similar garden location preference. If location-based features are added, Edaphia will use that information to provide more relevant planting guidance. Users should be able to manually adjust their garden location or growing zone when available.
How Information May Be Used
Information may be used to create and manage user accounts, save garden plans, customize planting recommendations, provide reminders, improve app features, troubleshoot errors, protect the app from abuse, and communicate with users about their account or requested features.
Garden Notes, Journals, and Photos
Users are responsible for the notes, journal entries, photos, and other content they add to Edaphia. Uploaded content should relate to gardening and should not include private information that users do not want stored in the app.
Email and Reminders
If Edaphia offers email notifications, reminders, or garden updates, users may receive messages related to their account, saved garden activity, or requested notifications. Marketing or optional update emails should include a way to unsubscribe when applicable.
Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies
Edaphia may use cookies, sessions, analytics tools, or similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, understand app usage, and improve the service.
External Links and Shopping Features
Edaphia may link to outside websites, stores, garden resources, or reference materials. Edaphia is not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or policies of external websites. If shopping, advertising, or affiliate features are added, additional disclosures may be provided.
Data Sharing
Edaphia does not sell personal garden account information. Information may be shared only when needed to operate the app, comply with legal obligations, protect the service, or use trusted service providers such as hosting, email, analytics, payment, or storage providers.
Data Security
Reasonable steps are taken to protect user information. However, no website or online service can guarantee complete security. Users should use strong passwords and avoid storing sensitive personal information in garden notes or uploads.
Account and Data Requests
Users may request help accessing, correcting, or deleting their account information where applicable. Some information may need to be retained for security, legal, backup, or administrative purposes.
Children’s Privacy
Edaphia is not intended for children under 13. Users under 13 should not create an account or submit personal information.
