The public Sources registry
The Sources page is the global record of active public references. Individual recommendations may also display a nearby source label when it helps explain a specific claim.
Sources and Edaphia assumptions
A source-backed rule can still contain a clearly labelled Edaphia planning assumption, such as an editable serving size. The interface should distinguish what a source states from calculations or conservative inferences Edaphia makes.
When local guidance differs
Your local Extension office may have more immediate or specific knowledge than a broader Edaphia scope. Use the visible source and scope to compare recommendations, then favor reliable local guidance when conditions differ.
